Bowling Fridays & Awards Banquet: Bowling skills are not required - a sense of humor is. This event, complete with cheerleaders and pompoms, is one you won't want to miss! Three Friday nights of bowling concluding with an awards banquet.
Summer Parties: These get-togethers are a sure way to get to know fellow boaters and meet new friends and begin at 6:30 p.m. with a social time.
Summer Frolic & Boat Christening: The Summer Frolic is a time for fun in the sun. Relax and spend the day or an entire weekend away from your homeport. This event includes the opportunity to have your boat christened. (Usually held at Treasure Island Marina). If a new boater and need assistance docking at another port, speak to a KCYC member.
Cruise Away: This is a wonderful way to wrap up the season and enjoy the last full boating weekend away from your home port with the club.
Annual Meeting: All members are encouraged to attend this potluck breakfast meeting. Time is spend re-capping the summer's events. In addition, board members are presented and voted on for the next year.
Change of the Watch: Start the year off with a great dinner party to welcome in the new commodore and officers. Everyone is invited to come for the evening or stay for the weekend. Awards are presented and a great time is anticipated. (Typically the weekend of the Minneapolis Boat Show and the location varies).
